The World Health Organization (WHO) seeks suitable applicants for the position below at the Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Position: Public Health & Environment Officer
- Education: University degree.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years Experience.
- Languages: English
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Contract Duration:6 Months.
- Remuneration:offer a highly competitive salary.
Other Requirements / Information:
- Experience on WASH sector coordination, organizing and facilitation of capacity building training for health and water professionals on development and implementation of Climate Resilient Water Safety Plan.
- Experience in developing training materials, guidelines, protocols, framework and strategies in WASH and Public Health
- Knowledge on policies and strategies associated with environment, WASH and sustainable development issues.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with proven ability to elaborate and implement projects.
- Ability to write in a clear and concise manner, and to present factual information.
- Knowledge of WHO, the UN System or NGO work in the field of response relief and/or of their practices and procedures as related to the work
