The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) seeks suitable applicants for the position below at the Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Other Requirements / Information:
- University degree in information technology, computer sciences or any other relevant discipline
- Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably gained abroad, in the field of advising and developing digital solutions in areas of TVET planning, delivery, governance, administration
- Proven hands-on experience of developing and delivering the digital training content and digital solutions
- Extensive industry knowledge and hands-on practical experience in the implementation and use of information technology and information management systems, products and processes with focus on vocational education and training
- Ability to convey information technology concepts and business impact to senior officials as well as address more detailed training requirements of users and technical staff
- Prior experience in development cooperation
- Business fluent in German and English.
Your tasks:
- Responsible for overseeing, managing and evolving all aspects related to digitalization related advisory services to be extended by the Programme
- Support development of strategies and measures to promote digitalization in the Ethiopian TVET system in collaboration with key national partners
- Conduct thorough, objective, insightful and timely analysis of issues related to the digitalization in the TVET sector in Ethiopia
- Provide quick on-demand analysis, recommendations on policy questions and issues related to digitalization
- Undertake independent and collaborative assignments; i.e., leading projects for developing digitalized solutions for the Ethiopian TVET system
- Advice and coordinate the development of various products, aiming at digitizing selected core processes of TVET governance and administration in the Ethiopian TVET system
