Key Accountabilities:
The Digital Governance Analyst will help the NRIS project to maintain best practices regarding information data security, data integrity, and data accessibility. Under the guidance of the UNDP NRIS Project Manager and the CRVS & IDM Specialist the Digital Governance Analyst will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Work closely on the issues of data protection and privacy issues, digital identity, the use of surveillance technologies, online violence and harassment etc;
- Examine how to use data and digital technology to govern better using technology to improve services;
- Take appropriate steps to address these harmful impacts of disinformation which threatens human rights;
- Work to identify and mitigate physical and digital data risks;
- Identify and correct vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and monitor data for potential unauthorized access;
Required skills:
- Demonstrated experience in the issues of data protection and privacy issues, digital identity, the use of surveillance technologies and human rights.
- Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships that result in the adoption of organizational change;
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively run project communications and partner expectations at all levels of the organization;
- Demonstrates team working and coordinating skills;
