Education Requirement:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or certificate in boiler operation from a recognized institution.
Experience Required
- 2 years working experience in maintenance and operation of steam boilers and chillers in a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Result Areas:
- Operate the boilers on a day-to-day basis.
- Maintain regular servicing on the boilers.
- Implement proper maintenance of records and registers related to boilers operations.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Maintain and adhere to the company’s Environment, Health and Safety regulations while at work.
- Monitor and maintain heating and steam boilers and equipment, using hand tools.
- Maintain the regulation of heat and steam through observing gauges.
- Installation of burners and auxiliary equipment, using hand tools.
- Any other duties assigned by the Boiler Supervisor or Production Officer.
